SVP for CRA and Fair & Responsible Banking at Beneficial State Bank

Victor Ramirez is SVP for CRA and Fair & Responsible Banking at Beneficial State Bank with a career that spans over 25 years of public, private, and nonprofit leadership service to the Southern California community. Victor’s private sector experience includes 15 years as a Vice-president at Citizens Business Bank and Citigroup managing their CRA and Community Development programs.  His economic development experience includes his service as Administrator and Director of Economic Development at USC responsible for expanding and organizing various community economic development programs, including the nationally-recognized Bridges to Business Success Program. 

His work in the public sector includes developing anti- poverty programs for the City of Angeles Community Development Department and the Housing Authority. Victor’s non-profit management experience includes his tenure at United Way of Greater Los Angeles managing a county-wide asset building initiative, as well as Vice-president of Strategic Advancement at NPHS Inc. focused on affordable housing development.  He has a graduate Masters degree in Community Economic Development, worked on a second Masters in Executive Leadership at USC, and is passionate about serving the needs of his local community.
