DORIMA HAMILTON, Executive director
Dorima Hamilton graduated from Vanguard University with a BA in Psychology. Dorima developed and implemented financial coaching programs to address the unique needs of first and second generation Latino families. In 2019, Dorima coordinated an outreach event in East L.A. with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), local banks, small dollar lenders, and community leaders who are concerned about predatory lending. Dorima has been a strategic partner to various community development corporations such as the Southern Pacific District of Community Development & Small Business Department, Centro de Vida Victoriosa, COPALA, Jesse Miranda Center, and many more.
Dorima works hand-in-hand with Los Angeles city officials, Washington D.C. leaders, financial institutions, nonprofit CEO's and bank board directors on community developments. Dorima oversees development of all fundraising efforts for IDEAL.
Dorima, also sits on the Advisory Board for AURA, a new fin-tech company whose mission is to fighter economic justice, something Dorima is passionate about.
Mrs. Hamilton has also worked with special needs children and their families as a behavior and speech therapist.
josue rincon, marketing director
Josue Rincon serves on Avance Latino (IDEAL) as the Marketing Director. Josue is a recent graduate from Vanguard University, where he is pursing a degree in Business with an emphasis in Administration and Management. Josue is an experienced Marketing Director with a demonstrated history of working in the nonprofit sector. Skilled in Digital Marketing, Teamwork, Leadership and Public Speaking.
Josue has vast knowledge in social media marketing.
Besides being the marketing director, Josue is currently working as a Personal Loan Specialist (PLS) at OneMain Financial. As a PLS he is in charge of Underwriting loans to assist customers in achieving their financial solutions.
Josue loves to educate his community on the several financial resources available. He inspires to apply his financial knowledge an become a Financial Advisor to help families make the best financial decisions.
andy machic, program coordinator
Andy Machic is an dynamic member of our Avance Latino staff. He is currently pursuing an Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering with an emphasis in Operation Systems at the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering.
He has previous experience in customer service and has demonstrated his passion for helping his community through the tutoring program.
As an intern, Andy helps the executive director plan and execute various events. He attends meetings pertaining to fundraising campaigns, meeting potential sponsors & partners, networking conferences, and outreach events. Furthermore, Andy has gained vast knowledge in fundraising and media outreach.
isaac pleitez, Program coordinator
Isaac has become an integral part of our IDEAL team. Dedicated to serving the community, he works alongside other team members in various projects and activities. Whether it is welcoming people during our workshops, taking pictures during workshops and events, making donation requests, and reaching out to partners are just some of the tasks taken on.
Currently attending California State University, Los Angeles, Isaac is pursuing his Bachelors in Sociology with an emphasis in Law and Society.
Daniel rincon, program coordinator
Daniel Rincon, an ideal wealth academy alumni, now is a CSULB student pursuing a degree in Computer Science. He has invested his time for the development and maintenance of our community computer lab. He has also been a key player on our media team; capturing photos of all our workshops and events.
Now as an intern, Daniel helps coordinate the various programs offered at IDEAL. Along with coordinating ongoing programs, he accompanies the executive director in meeting potential sponsors, corporations, and government officials and entities. Learning the ins and outs of running a non-profit and serve the community.
